Who knew going back to school would be such hard work?
I mean, really. All this effort? The pressure? I'm aching all over!
But I'm learning new things every day. One week into flip-cup and I'm on track for an "A."
Am I the only one who didn't experience flip-cup in college the first go around? Is it a generational thing? Does my degree still count?
The yarn - it is perturbed. It is no fan of pine and Amstel. It does not appreciate wanton frivolity or the scent of campfire smoke. After this weekend, it is just dirty. And smells funny.
And if you venture upstate (where, by the way, it is so cold that your patterns will shrivel, your cotton will cringe and if you are sleeping in an unheated woodland cabin, your butt will not thaw for three days, even with 99 other shivering people huddled around your keg with s'mores and 20-year plans) the leaves, they are changing.
