This weird little puddle was my attempt at a self-designed cardigan.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be some funky amoeba that only an odd alien species could wear.
It landed in the frog pile soon after I took this photo. After some wading around on Ravelry, I decided to attempt the Tangled Yoke pattern instead. I've tried to cast on four or five times, but keep getting distracted, so I've no progress to show you yet.
Of course, this little guy is some of my distraction.
But so is my brand new job promotion! Of course, I can't really talk about it here, but I can tell you that it is something I've been working toward for years. It's what my whole MBA school career led me toward. And so far, I'm loving it.
But getting used to the newneess has cut down on my internet time, at least for now. I'm here, I'm around and I'm posting (and reading when I can) as I settle into my groove.
I have an insanely good recipe coming for delicia squash, more vacation posts and - of course - plenty of puppy and knitting!
I did manage to knit a hedgehog rattle for little Doolin.
In with the polyfill, I stuffed a rattle - it has become a perfect fetch toy!
It's good when someone appreciates your handknits.
Details for Hedgie are here! Run fetch them!
