I can't believe we are just a week away from our trip to Belize! The suitcase is out, but still empty. I'd better at least start thinking about what to take.

While I procrastinate packing, I've been out on the town, enjoying these days of summer spring.

Ben, Doolin and I have spent a lot of time in the park, enjoying the weather, meeting with friends and remembering what is it to fall in love with New York in spring.

We are wearing out our puppy, dragging him all over the city these days! Here he is a Le Pain Quotidian in Central Park, waiting for lunch to arrive.

It's going to be a fun year, since I'll actually be here in town to enjoy it! We still haven't figured out the car situation, but we're working on it. In the meantime, I'm seeing the insides of a lot of buses and taxis.
The car is our project for next week. While we figure things out, I'm getting a lot of sock knitting done during my commute.
I'll have this pair finished this week, I suspect, and will need to start a new pair for Belize.
