Hawaiian rainbows, again - bubbling up in oil from the sunken hulk of the USS Arizona, which still lies in the shallow waters of Pearl Harbor, in Oahu, her crew forever entombed.
Although the memorial itself is touching, it will be these images of of the perpetually leaking oil - seeping from the wreckage, staining the water and saturating the air with the reek of machinery - that I will always remember.
Rainbows...floating endlessly to remind us of the tragedy of December 7, 1942.
