We also happened past the Apostles Church and I had to peek inside.
It seemed as though some sort of service was going on, though. And our friends were in a hurry to find food. So I couldn't linger long.
I never did get to go back and explore...
Traveling with friends is fun - a completely irreplaceable experience - but it takes compromise.
Ultimately, the thrill of camaraderie and the shared experience totally make up for the loss of freedom. Friends push you to do things you wouldn't have considered otherwise.
(I have no idea what this big concrete building is, but I liked the way it looked in the fading sun.)
