I finally ran through all five balls of the Katia Jamaica yarn. I thought I was finished with the Twirly Girly Blanket.
It's not big enough. Not yet.
(shown with small cat, for scale.)
I believe that a baby blanket should be big enough for a flailing little one to hunker down on and get comfortable. We aren't there yet. One flail and that baby will be squirming on the floor.
Tracking down more of this yarn is not an option (I looked. I got a headache. I gave up.)
We need a border.
Ben and I journeyed to Downtown Yarns yesterday on my way to school for an Emerging Market's Association meeting and I tripped and hit my credit card on some textured white cotton.
