Saturday was the perfect day for a ramble through Central Park.
Our grays and browns have dissolved into pools of pink and yellow petals. The ground is saturated in green.
Pity I had but a few hours to saunter about in the warmth before tucking myself indoors to write some silly business paper.
We make the most of what we have, though. The paper goes in at noon today. Then begins the next one, of course. Curses on you, end of term work.
I don't mind that much, though. I'm not that far from finished, you see; I'll have a light summer course load, then a few fall classes to endure, and then it's almost time to grab that piece of paper and run.
And with all the lovely weekend weather we enjoyed, I don't even mind the chill and the rain today.
You wouldn't believe the noise this little bird made when we walked past his home! He just screeched at us the entire time. Could there be eggs in there?
Oh, and I started something else.
This is the Angle baby sweater. I've already ripped this version, though, and have begun anew.
