I promise to every day give you squares, until we are done. Remember what you got on Day One:
Day Two added one more miter, bringing us to a total of three...
On Day Three, with too much time on my hands (while I was supposed to be cleaning house), I added five squares, bringing our total to eight.
Then Day Four, yesterday, I added this little lovely (company and all!)
Today, Day Five, I bring more joy.
And we have...eleven! Eleven bluish miters (bhuahaha!) And I have a funky one on the needles - can you hear it down there in my purse crying for attention?
I now comprehend the addiction factor. I am weak. This is why I do not have a PlayStation and avoid hard drugs and kittens. Cotton is enough to take me over my limit - somebody call me a cab.
I began the blanket with just a few rules.
1) dark blue, light blue or cream for everything.
2) all stripes must stay the same size.
I started basic. I've been lining up sample squares and branching out. I'm actually crafting specific squares to match up. I'm getting finickier.
Now say Hi to Marge - she's been more than tolerant of Miter Fever and is armed with wool for Friday night KIPing with Spiders. I hookied out of work yesterday and dragged her around the city until even my feel hurt. No massage samples yet, but she did bring us awesome toothpaste.
